USICHgov

USICHgov is the U. S. Interagency Council on Homelessness, a federal agency dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness in America.

With a focus on collaboration, USICH brings together 19 federal agencies to implement the Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness. Their work extends across federal, state, and local governments, as well as the private sector, to create partnerships and employ evidence-based practices. At USICHgov, they believe that housing should be a right, not a privilege.

Guided by their values, one of their core principles is racial equity. They strive to ensure that all Americans, regardless of race, have equal opportunities to live in safe and affordable homes. In addition to their strategic planning efforts, USICHgov offers tools for action, news updates, and resources for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of eviction.
