## Description

Úsměv nejen pro Kryštofa is a Czech foundation supporting people affected by cancer and their loved ones. Founded by the Abel family after their son Kryštof’s experience with osteosarcoma, the organisation draws on personal insight into the practical, emotional and financial challenges families can face during treatment. Its mission is to help patients and families find reliable information, understand their options and maintain quality of life throughout a difficult period.

The foundation provides its services and consultations free of charge, offering support in person or by phone. Its website brings together accessible information about cancer, treatment and its stages, patient rights, social support, and ways to care for physical and mental wellbeing. It also shares practical guidance, useful contacts and answers to common questions about navigating healthcare and everyday life during illness. The team welcomes people seeking advice, information or simply someone to listen, and is available daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Through donations and partnerships, the foundation helps people facing cancer feel less alone and better supported.
