## Description

The Sir Peter Ustinov Institute is a Vienna-based organization dedicated to researching prejudice and hostile images, and to helping overcome them. It views prejudice as a source of poverty, discrimination, and conflict, and promotes thoughtful engagement rather than the uncritical acceptance of inherited or outdated opinions. Its work brings together research, networking, and public engagement, with the aim of contributing to a more informed society.

The institute shares its work through articles and commentary on current social and political issues, including migration, democracy, antisemitism, and the legacy of fascism. Its activities include public events, educational initiatives, publications, a media library, and guest professorships. It also offers professional development for teachers, including training focused on putting democracy into practice in everyday school life. Through its Ustinov network, partnerships, and engagement with supporters, the institute connects people and organizations interested in these questions. The Sir Peter Ustinov Institute is located at Möllwaldplatz 5/3/7 in Vienna, Austria, and provides information about its team, partners, activities, and annual reports online.
