# Utah Paiutes - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `utahpaiutes.org` ## Description The Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah (PITU) is a federally recognized tribal government representing five constituent bands: Cedar, Indian Peaks, Kanosh, Koosharem, and Shivwits. After federal recognition and trust responsibilities were restored by an act of Congress in 1980, the Tribe continued to serve its members and communities across reservation lands in southwest Utah. Its website shares information about tribal government, culture, lands, events, news, and member resources. PITU offers a broad range of programs and services, including health care through FourPoints Health, environmental and emergency management, enrollment and member services, education, family services, and support for Native youth. Its programs also include patient outreach, the Puow’wan Program, and the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA). Economic development is another area of the Tribe’s work. Community life is celebrated through annual gatherings and pow-wows, while cultural resources such as Paiute language materials and plant knowledge help preserve and share heritage. The website also provides event calendars, public notices, employment opportunities, and access to a member portal. ## Industries - ⚖️ Law and Government - ⚖️ Government _(under Law and Government)_ - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Public Health and Safety _(under Health)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/paiuteindiantribeofutah) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/PaiuteIndianTribeofUtah) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idagxkIoP6/w/820/h/120/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1747995284796) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idagxkIoP6/w/337/h/337/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790960923973) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Chestnut | #ba4848 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Portage | #9896f0 | light | ## Fonts - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ - Poppins — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
