## Description

The Utah Council of Trout Unlimited is a statewide organization focused on fishing, conservation, and community. It brings together local chapters and anglers across Utah, with groups serving areas including Park City, St. George and Cedar City, Logan, Vernal, Ogden, western Utah and eastern Nevada, and Provo. The council provides ways for people to connect through chapter activities, events, and opportunities to join.

Its conservation work includes the Utah Cutthroat Slam, which highlights Utah’s native cutthroat trout, and participation in Utah Fish Day on the Hill. The council also supports youth education through Trout Camp and Trout in the Classroom, introducing young people to trout and related learning experiences. Other offerings include the Utah Women in Fly-fishing initiative, a document library, and information about council officers.

The organization hosts and promotes fishing events, including the Green River Single Fly, and recognizes contributors through the Utah Fly Fishing Hall of Fame. Its website shares event dates, chapter information, conservation updates, and news about programs and activities throughout the state.
