## Description

Ultra-Trail® Małopolska is a trail-running events brand based in Kraków and the Małopolska region of Poland. Its mountain race festivals invite runners to explore the region on foot, with distances ranging from shorter runs to demanding ultramarathons. Events include Ultra-Trail® Małopolska, Winter Trail Małopolska, Szczebel Cup and Nowa Huta w czterech smakach, held at different times of the year. Routes span distances from 5 or 10 kilometres to races of 240 kilometres, depending on the event. The longest runs can provide qualifying points for the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc race. The organisation offers event information, registration, race tracking and guidance for participants, including details about travel and food stations. Its approach also highlights vegetarian catering, healthy activity and environmental awareness. Through the Foundation 4 Alternatywy, the organisers support animals in need, including by directing five złoty from each participant’s entry fee toward animal food and veterinary care, and collecting supplies at events. Participants can also volunteer or support the foundation’s work.
