## Description

Utviklingsfondet is a Norwegian development organisation working toward a sustainable and more just world. It supports small-scale farmers in vulnerable regions, helping them adapt to climate change, strengthen food security and build resilient livelihoods. The organisation reaches more than half a million people each year across Africa, Asia and Central America, and works in Nepal, Malawi, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Somalia and Mozambique.

Its programmes address climate adaptation, agricultural biodiversity, natural resource management, nutrition and food security. Utviklingsfondet also supports women’s rights and gender equality, civil society organisations, and community savings and loan groups, including access to green credit. Its work aims to help farmers cope with extreme weather and changing growing conditions while supporting sustainable food production.

The organisation shares information through news, reports, evaluations, films, exhibitions and a monthly newsletter. Individuals and businesses can contribute through donations, memorial gifts, purpose-led gifts and investment in projects. Utviklingsfondet is based in Oslo, Norway, and reports that 92 percent of its funds go to its purpose, with 8 percent allocated to administration and fundraising.
