Unitarian Universalists of Santa Monica is a community embodying bravery, curiosity, and compassion, uniting thinkers, organizers, leaders, and doers. Diverse in faith, ethnicity, ability, and history, we share the common goal of inclusivity. Our strong foundation in love, justice, and peace drives our commitment to one another and the world. We uphold the seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism, valuing the inherent worth and dignity of every person. As a congregational denomination, we govern ourselves and support social justice, humanism, and environmentalism. Our mission is to foster spiritual and personal growth in an inclusive, intergenerational space, guided by our Vision for a better world. Evolved from our 1927 origins, we continue to serve our community, inspired by our rich history and foundation in compassion and social activism.
