## Description

UV-Kollen is a Swedish online platform that provides detailed real-time UV-index information for all Swedish cities. Created by a web developer with a passion for providing accurate and useful data, UV-Kollen allows users to easily access and monitor UV-index levels in different locations. The UV-index is calculated based on factors such as the sun's elevation angle, the thickness of the ozone layer, and cloud cover. The platform offers valuable advice on how to protect oneself from harmful UV radiation, promoting the use of protective clothing, sunscreens, and seeking shade during peak UV hours. UV-Kollen also educates users about the UV-index scale, categorized into five risk levels, and its linear nature, which directly correlates to the level of UV radiation. With a focus on privacy, UV-Kollen offers transparency regarding the use of web storage and data collection, while also emphasizing the use of open-source Swedish weather data. Whether it's checking the current UV-index, understanding the calculation process, or learning about UV radiation risks in Sweden, UV-Kollen is a comprehensive and reliable resource for staying informed and safe under the sun.
