UWUA Local 304 is a local division of the Utility Workers Union of America, AFL-CIO. Our history traces back to when we foresaw the end of Allegheny Energy and the merger with First Energy Corporation. With the goal of having a voice in our collective future, the employees of Harrison Power Station came together to form Local 304. This was a crucial step, especially considering the nationwide attacks on worker rights and the establishment of Right-to-Work legislation. Since our inception on September 29th, 2010, we have proudly stood alongside our union brothers and sisters, fighting for dignity and democracy in the American workplace.
