## Description

The Visegrád Group Society for Developmental Biology (V4SDB) is a regional society supporting excellence in developmental biology across the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. It brings together researchers, students and other members of the developmental biology community, fostering scientific exchange and collaboration throughout Central Europe.

V4SDB organises a regular flagship conference, alongside focused mini-symposia and educational events. Its programme includes student summer and winter schools, practical courses and workshops designed to support early-career scientists and provide opportunities to develop research skills. Recent and upcoming course topics include spatial transcriptomics, computational analysis of imaging datasets, and practical embryology.

The society also serves as a supportive forum for its members by sharing relevant job vacancies, scientific meetings and other opportunities. Members can access registration discounts for V4SDB and International Society of Developmental Biology (ISDB) meetings and events. Through its conferences, training activities, membership benefits and regional network, V4SDB helps connect developmental biologists and advance the discipline across the four Visegrád countries.
