Serving DeKalb, Kendall, LaSalle, Bureau, and Putnam counties, VAC has provided community services for 50 years, with a focus on essential nutrition and transportation needs. Its nutrition programs include Meals on Wheels, which delivers hot, nutritious meals to older adults, people with disabilities, and others who are homebound. VAC also offers congregate lunches for seniors and meals for local daycare providers. Transportation is provided through TransVAC and related local services, including dial-a-ride in rural DeKalb County, the Sandwich area, and Kendall County. Rides include local trips and out-of-county medical transportation for people who need assistance. VAC engages community members through volunteering, fundraising events, and charitable giving. Volunteer opportunities include helping with Meals on Wheels, while donations of time, skills, and money support the organization’s programs. Based in Sycamore, Illinois, VAC works with regional agencies and community partners to serve older adults and others in need. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Geriatric and Aging Care _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/VACNorthernIL) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/vacnil) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idL9GVFlSk/w/361/h/69/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792879724330) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idL9GVFlSk/w/1363/h/1363/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792879724718) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Alizarin Crimson | #e21b24 | accent | | Red Beech | #772f00 | dark | | Anzac | #dfa74f | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
