## Description

VAEP, a grassroots nonprofit founded by a registered nurse, is dedicated to educating the public about vaping through accurate and accessible information. The organization's vision is to dispel misconceptions surrounding vaping, ensuring that smokers can make informed decisions about this alternative to traditional cigarettes. VAEP adheres to nursing principles, promoting self-directed learning from credible resources while respecting individuals' rights to choose.

The mission of VAEP encompasses advocacy and education, aiming to unify knowledgeable vapers and engage them in comprehensive population education campaigns. It seeks to support effective vaping practices within non-vaping communities, including government and healthcare agencies, by providing essential information and facilitating informed decision-making.

Rooted in a strong ethical framework, VAEP prioritizes nonmaleficence, beneficence, autonomy, and justice in all actions. The organization strives to create a safe and inclusive environment, giving people the tools to understand vaping fully while treating everyone with respect and fairness. Through these efforts, VAEP continues to foster a well-informed dialogue about vaping for a healthier public perspective.
