The Vagabond Flying Association, based at the DuPage Airport in West Chicago, IL, is one of the oldest flying clubs in Northern Illinois. With a rich history dating back to the late 1950s, our club offers an exciting opportunity for aviation enthusiasts to fly and improve their skills at an affordable price. As a member-owned flying club, our goal is to provide our members with the chance to own a part of two well-maintained aircraft, a 1980 Cessna Skyhawk II and a 1977 Piper Warrior II. By spreading the fixed costs evenly across our members, we are able to offer hourly rates that are set based on the actual operating costs, ensuring that our members fly at cost.  Whether you're a seasoned pilot or a student looking to learn how to fly, the Vagabond Flying Association welcomes you. Our club is known for its friendly and supportive atmosphere, where you can connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for aviation. If you're tired of paying exorbitant prices for tired old FBO rentals or are simply looking for a cost-effective way to pursue your love for flying, the Vagabond Flying Association is the perfect fit for you.
