This volunteer-driven effort provides a platform for individuals globally to discover information about their ancestors who served in the Continental Army during this pivotal time in history. The project boasts an extensive database with over 28,700 entries that can be searched by various criteria, including last name, first name, rank, ethnicity, state, or regiment. It was initiated in 1941 and saw significant advancements in 1992 when founders Tom McNichol and Frank Resavy began electronically cataloging the muster rolls. This undertaking has received critical support from organizations like Lockheed Martin, which helped in developing software and providing technical resources. By visiting their online platform, users can delve into the rich history of Valley Forge, while also supporting the ongoing work of the Alliance through membership and donations to ensure the legacy continues. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Ancestry and Genealogy _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/FriendsofVFPark) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/valleyforgeparkalliance) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idewk7EX_t/w/169/h/40/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1740423742618) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idewk7EX_t/w/512/h/512/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1740423742734) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Dell | #4f6f19 | accent | | Metallic Bronze | #4f331e | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - EB Garamond — asset _(google)_ - Manrope — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
