## Description

Orienteringslaget Vallset/Stange is a community orienteering club based in Stange, Norway. Formed in 1989 through the merger of Vallset and Stange clubs, it carries forward a local orienteering tradition dating to 1945. Today, it brings together around 100 members and offers activities throughout the year for children, young people and adults. Its offerings include training, recreational orienteering through Turorientering, and opportunities to join or support the club. It also shares event information and a competition calendar, and organizes orienteering events in the area’s varied terrain. The club maintains and regularly maps local landscapes, supporting both recreational participation and organized competition. Vallset/Stange has a long record of hosting major races, including national and regional championships, and has contributed to the development of orienteering in Hedmark through event organization and local engagement. With a strong community focus and deep roots in the district, the club offers a welcoming way to learn, practice and enjoy navigation and outdoor activity.
