## Description

Vallum Archery Association is a community sports organization based in Dunaföldvár, Hungary. Founded in 2015 with 10 members, it has grown to more than 30, bringing together people from age five to over 60; families often join as well. The association promotes archery, encourages an active and healthy lifestyle, and offers opportunities to participate regardless of age or gender, primarily for local residents and people from nearby areas.

Members hold regular training sessions, usually on weekends. From spring through autumn, practice takes place outdoors, combining traditional targets with skill-based activities. During winter, the group trains in the local school’s sports hall. Members also take part in archery competitions and have achieved notable results.

Vallum introduces the sport to the wider community by organizing archery activities at schools, kindergartens, municipal events, and company gatherings. Participants can try different types of bows and equipment. The association is mainly self-funded, receives support from the local municipality, and welcomes donations through Hungary’s personal income tax allocation.
