# Valolarve - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `valolarve.fr` ## Description Valolarve is an innovative startup based in Charente, France, offering locally produced, protein-rich food for animals, along with bait for fishing enthusiasts. Its products are made from black soldier fly larvae and are intended for a wide range of animals, including chickens, birds, ornamental and river fish, rodents, reptiles, tortoises, and other small pets. The range includes live and dried larvae, pupae, and compost, serving both animal owners and anglers. Valolarve presents insect-based food as a natural source of protein and lipids, with its larvae containing approximately 40% protein and 20% lipids. The company’s local production model also supports a circular economy: the larvae are fed surplus fruit and vegetables sourced from the Greater Angoulême area. By making use of unsold produce, Valolarve aims to help reduce food waste while providing an alternative animal feed. Its approach combines practical nutrition for pets and livestock with locally rooted, more sustainable production. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Pet Food and Supplies _(under Pets and Animals)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/profile.php?id=100093667326191) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/valolarve) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idNWWry9cT/w/820/h/385/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793645124389) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idNWWry9cT/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793645124628) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Corn | #dbda00 | accent | | Brown Rust | #ac6639 | dark | | Wattle | #d7e03f | light | ## Fonts - Playfair Display — asset _(google)_ - Lato — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
