## Description

VALORIZEN is an Egyptian research and innovation center focused on turning sustainable materials research into commercial products. Established in 2019, the organization builds on a mission its founders began in 2010: transforming agricultural residues into valuable, sustainable materials. Based in New Cairo, VALORIZEN operates a 300-square-meter bio-materials pilot plant and serves researchers, inventors, companies, factories, institutions, grant applicants, and accelerators across the MENA region.

The center helps bridge the gap between laboratory research and industrial markets through technical expertise, engineering support, research infrastructure, and commercialization guidance. Its work includes developing proof-of-concept ideas into commercial-ready processes, valorizing industrial biomass and waste, and supporting intellectual property strategy. VALORIZEN also partners with organizations seeking an Egyptian industrial collaborator for research proposals, and provides independent evaluation or consulting services for accelerator and incubator programs. With a multidisciplinary team and experience in sustainable materials and biomass valorization, VALORIZEN aims to help innovators create scalable solutions and convert underused resources into economic and environmental value.
