Van Fire Fighters, also known as the Vancouver Firefighter Charities (VFC), is a dedicated group of over 830 off-duty firefighters who volunteer their time to make a positive impact in our community. VFC has developed a range of community-based programs aimed at improving the lives of those in need. Their programs include Snacks for Kids, Sports for Kids, Toys for Kids, and Lifelines for Seniors.

Through Snacks for Kids, VFC partners with the Vancouver School Board to provide nutritional support to children and families who require assistance. Their Sports for Kids program aims to foster a love for physical activity and teamwork among young individuals. Additionally, VFC runs Lifelines for Seniors, which offers vital support to select patients.

In addition to their programs, Van Fire Fighters also actively engage in fundraisers and collect clothing donations through their Clothing Bank. This initiative diverts textiles from landfills to recycling depots while providing critical funding to communities.
