## Description

VANDAAG Kinderopvang is a childcare provider in Fryslân, the Netherlands, offering care designed around children’s needs and development. Its services include daycare, preschool care and out-of-school care, with locations across towns such as Drachten, Burgum and De Westereen. The organisation aims to provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can grow emotionally, socially, physically and cognitively, while encouraging independence, creativity and positive social behaviour.

VANDAAG places each child’s individual character, talents and abilities at the centre of its approach. Children are supported to discover and develop their strengths through everyday activities, guided play and learning. The programme also includes carefully managed risky play, helping children explore their limits and build confidence. Outdoor play and nature are important, and the organisation seeks to use sustainable materials while helping children become aware of their surroundings.

Beyond childcare, VANDAAG highlights cooperation between care and education through its Bernemienskip initiative, launched at seven locations with educational partners. Families can find location information, fees and registration details through the organisation.
