Vaquill AI provides an open API and data platform for accessing US primary law. Its corpus includes more than 5.4 million sections across 56 US jurisdictions, covering statutes, regulations, constitutions, court rules and executive orders, with citations and links to official sources. Users can reach the data through REST, MCP, SQL over an object store, or a vector index, making it suitable for legal research and AI-powered products.

The platform supports Bluebook and jurisdiction-specific citation resolution, point-in-time queries, change alerts, and multiple formats, including HTML, plain text, PDF, XML and DOCX when available from the source. Its coverage also includes federal agency guidance, administrative adjudications, local court rules and session laws. Vaquill refreshes federal and state materials on published schedules and provides tools to inspect its open-source ingestion pipeline. Organizations can use the hosted API, request a demo, or download the corpus for non-commercial use under a Creative Commons license. Free credits are available for personal projects, student work and academic research.
