## Description

Variety, the Children's Charity, is dedicated to helping children and young people across the UK reach their full potential. With more than 1.3 million disabled children and young people, as well as nearly four million children living in poverty, Variety provides crucial support and resources to make an immediate difference in their lives. Led by a team of experienced professionals, Variety's staff team ensures the day-to-day operations run smoothly and effectively. The charity's strategic development and leadership are overseen by the Chief Executive, who reports to the Chair and Board of Trustees. Speaking of the Board of Trustees, they bring a wealth of valuable expertise to Variety. Led by the Chief Barker, the circus term that reflects the charity's show business roots, the Board plays a crucial role in governance and strategy. Variety's journey started with the inspiration of an abandoned child, and since then, the charity has raised over £300 million to support disabled and disadvantaged children in the UK. With strong ties to the entertainment industry, Variety has been fortunate to have the support of some of the world's most famous faces. As a proud member of the Disabled Children's Partnership, Variety joins forces with 100 organizations to advocate for improved health and social care for disabled children and their families. Additionally, Variety Golf, a group of charity-minded golfers, raises funds to provide schools and organizations with Variety Sunshine Coaches. By supporting Variety, you can help vulnerable children and young people have a brighter future. Together, we can make a difference in their lives and ensure they have the support they need to thrive.
