## Description

Varsity Vocals is an organization dedicated to student a cappella, connecting singers in high school, college, and beyond through performance, competition, and shared learning. Since 1995, it has showcased emerging vocal talent on stage and in the studio, giving groups opportunities to compete, receive feedback from experienced professionals, and perform in notable venues around the world.

Its signature events include the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) and the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA), alongside Open competitions. Varsity Vocals organizes events worldwide, publishes schedules and ticket information, and shares competition results and champion histories. Groups can find application guidance, rules, and deadlines to take part, while audiences can discover shows and cheer on performers.

The organization also releases albums featuring selected student a cappella tracks, preserving and sharing performances from school groups. Varsity Vocals’ work has inspired the Pitch Perfect film series, which drew on the real-life ICCA tournament, and the competition has also appeared in the documentary series Sing It On.
