VBCF, or the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation, is a grassroots organization that has been connecting and empowering Virginians impacted by breast cancer since 1991. Committed to eradicating breast cancer through education and advocacy, VBCF offers a wide range of products and services to support individuals on their breast cancer journey. For those in need, VBCF provides a Resource Coordinator who can offer guidance and connect individuals with specific non-medical resources. They also offer free Support Kits tailored for the newly diagnosed, metastatic patients, caregivers, and survivors. Additionally, VBCF runs a Screening & Diagnostic Services Fund, which funds essential screenings and procedures for individuals who can't afford them in Southwest Virginia. Through their various programs and services, VBCF aims to empower individuals affected by breast cancer, advocating for improved breast cancer and healthcare policies. They offer educational programs, support groups, and resources to help individuals navigate the physical and emotional changes that come with breast cancer.
