## Description

Ouderraad VBS Scheldewindeke | Scheldewindeke is a brand that focuses on providing transportation services for students. They offer a school bus service for their students. However, in situations when the bus is double-booked, they rely on voluntary transportation. The dedicated volunteers ensure that the students are safely transported to various activities in the area, helping to reduce costs. For children under 18 years old and shorter than 1.35m, it is mandatory to use a suitable child restraint system in the car. Children who are 1.35m or taller must also use a suitable child restraint system or wear a seatbelt. Specifically, young children must be transported in a child seat, and older children should use a booster seat (with or without a backrest). It's important to note that the general rule may not apply in certain vehicles, such as those with more than 8 seats, buses, and coaches. There are also exceptions for occasional short-distance transportation. When it comes to insurance, the brand ensures that parents who volunteer as drivers are covered for bodily harm through the school's policy, as they are considered volunteers driving on behalf of the school with permission from the school's management. The brand emphasizes the importance of notifying the school's management of any such occasions. Overall, Ouderraad VBS Scheldewindeke | Scheldewindeke is committed to providing safe and reliable transportation services for their students and relies on the support of dedicated volunteers to make it possible.
