VCAPCC, also known as the Victoria Child Abuse Prevention and Counselling Centre, is a brand dedicated to responding to the needs of children, youth, and families affected by sexual abuse and other traumas. Their mission is to provide victim services, counseling, prevention, and education within the Greater Victoria community, as well as consultation throughout British Columbia. The philosophy of VCAPCC is rooted in the belief that children, youth, and their families have the ability to heal from the effects of child abuse and maltreatment when they receive the appropriate support from their family, community, and through the services provided by the center.

In addition to their core services, VCAPCC also engages in community involvement and awareness campaigns. They have been recognized as the charity of choice by the Victoria Foundation-Vital Youth Program and Parkland Secondary Students in 2023. VCAPCC is actively involved in events such as Sexual Exploitation Awareness Week, Pink Shirt Day, Safer Internet Day, and Orange Shirt Day.

These initiatives aim to raise awareness, provide resources, and foster dialogue about important issues related to child abuse prevention and mental health.
