## Description

The Veteran Car Club of Australia (Tasmania) Inc. is a statewide club for people interested in veteran and historic vehicles. It has more than 750 members and a collection represented by over 1,000 cars, motorcycles and trucks. To serve members across Tasmania, the club is organised into three self-administered sections, each aligned with a telephone district. Their clubrooms are in Brighton in the south, Launceston in the north and Ulverstone in the north-west.

The club supports an active community around vehicle heritage, with information about recent runs and events, swap meets, historic articles, newsletters and videos. Its website also provides member resources, club forms, links and listings for vehicles and items for sale or wanted. The club encourages people to share practical skills that help sustain the hobby and welcome younger participants, including blacksmithing, engine rebuilding, panel beating, pinstriping and upholstery. Members and visitors can find details about what’s on, contact the club and follow its updates on Facebook.
