## Description

Velocitek is a brand that caters to the tight-knit community of performance sailing. Understanding the value of time spent on the water, the brand aims to help sailors make the most of it with their range of simple, intuitive, and elegant electronic instruments. Their design ethos revolves around ensuring that their instruments never distract, frustrate, or hinder performance. They believe that instruments should be usable without the need for an instruction manual, and they place a strong emphasis on creating instruments that are visually appealing. Velocitek's core beliefs extend beyond their products to shape their business as well. They believe that the key to long-term success lies in consistently creating products that make customers happy. Trustworthiness is of utmost importance to them and they prioritize the long-term benefits it brings over short-term gains achieved through dishonesty. Furthermore, Velocitek feels a moral obligation to play their part in protecting the natural environment, especially lakes and oceans. The team at Velocitek is led by CEO Alec Stewart, who founded the brand as a grad student in 2005. He is passionate about collaborating with talented individuals to develop and manufacture high-quality products. The team also includes Charles Swanson, the Sales & Support Manager, who brings his project management expertise and competitive sailing background to build enduring relationships with customers worldwide. Assembly Technician Sony Tran, a Marine Corps veteran, brings grit and determination to the team. Shelly Wang, the Global Supply Chain Manager, ensures the sourcing of quality components. Industrial Designer Afshin Mehin, known for his work with prestigious design firms, contributes his expertise to deliver robust, beautiful, and user-friendly designs. With a commitment to customer satisfaction, Velocitek invites users to become dealers, offers support through manuals and FAQs, and provides a warranty and a comprehensive range of legal services. Join Velocitek in optimizing your performance on the water and unlocking the full potential of your sailing experience.
