## Description

Velo Performance is a New Zealand cycling consultancy focused on helping riders optimise the relationship between their bodies and their bikes. Established with a physiotherapy foundation, the business considers how each person moves and functions when developing an individual riding position. Its approach connects clinical knowledge and bike-fitting expertise, supported by current research, professional education, technology and clinical reasoning.

Velo Performance works with cyclists across a wide range of abilities and ambitions, from people who want to ride an e-bike for everyday outings to athletes pursuing high-level performance. Its services include bike fitting, aero testing and physiotherapy, with sessions tailored to a rider’s specific goals. The aim is to improve comfort and performance in ways that can be sustained in real riding conditions.

The company also shares cycling news and education, including case studies that explain its fitting process. One featured project examined how to help triathlete Braden Currie sustain an aerodynamic position over an Ironman bike leg and run effectively afterward.
