## Description

The Société de Vènerie is a distinguished organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional practice of hunting with hounds, known as "chasse à courre" or vènerie, in France. Bringing together a passionate community of over 100,000 participants and nearly 400 hunting packs, the society emphasizes the deep connection between hunters, hounds, and nature. They offer a wealth of resources including workshops on hound training, equestrian activities, and educational sessions about ethical hunting practices, animal welfare, and ecological balance.

The crafts of hound training and horse riding are integral parts of their offerings, with specialized training programs and events such as the French Hunting Horse Championship and hound competitions. They also maintain an e-shop featuring merchandise related to vènerie, educational materials, and membership subscriptions. With a commitment to respect for nature and wildlife, the Société de Vènerie fosters understanding and appreciation of this age-old tradition, ensuring it remains vibrant and relevant in contemporary society.
