## Description

VeneziaComix is a cultural association based in Venice, founded in 2006 to promote and support comics and visual storytelling. Its aim is to foster a dynamic, active and professional cultural environment in the Venice area, bringing together audiences, creators and people interested in illustrated narratives. The association offers courses and workshops and develops projects related to comics and visual communication. Its program also includes public events, exhibitions, author meet-ups and publications, creating opportunities to discover the medium and engage with its practitioners. Among its initiatives are the VeneziaComics Festival, the Nuvole in Veneto award and a school dedicated to visual storytelling. Recent activities have included exhibitions celebrating comic artists and events connected with animation, manga and film projects. Through these educational and cultural activities, VeneziaComix makes comics accessible to a broad community while supporting their role as a meaningful art form.
