# Venice Cat Coalition - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `venicecatcoalition.blogspot.com` ## Description Founded in 2006 by veteran cat rescue leader Theresa Foley, the Key West Cat Society is dedicated to changing how communities address the problem of homeless cats. The organization is closely associated with the Venice Cat Coalition, which works to rescue cats and kittens, provide care, and help them find permanent homes. Its efforts include nurturing vulnerable kittens, arranging foster placements, and supporting adoptions. Foster care can also give families time to determine whether a cat is a good fit before making an adoption permanent. The Society and Coalition rely on supporters and foster caregivers to help cats recover and thrive, and the blog encourages donations to sustain this work. Their wider advocacy includes promoting spaying and neutering and raising awareness about animal welfare, including opposition to declawing. Through rescue stories, adoption updates, and community outreach, the organizations offer a forum for people who love and protect cats. Their work reflects a commitment to helping individual animals while encouraging a more compassionate response to homeless cats. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Animals _(under Pets and Animals)_ - 🐶 Pets _(under Pets and Animals)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/136889193041522) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id1vFytTik/w/573/h/573/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792838057981) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Christine | #de7008 | accent | | Ming | #3a6c83 | dark | | Sandwisp | #f5e39e | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
