## Description

VeraFab is developing a new approach to cytometry, the measurement of cells used across modern biology. Its goal is to bring trusted, standardised single-cell analysis beyond central laboratories to research settings, manufacturing facilities and clinics. The company is redesigning the flow cytometer as an integrated system: VeraChip, a sealed, single-use cartridge that combines cell handling, microfluidics and photonics; VeraCell, a compact, factory-calibrated reader; and VeraOS, analysis software that produces machine-readable results and supports natural-language instructions.

VeraFab says the intended workflow is simple: load a sample and receive a consistent result in minutes, without manual instrument alignment or gating. The reader is still in design, while the analysis software is available as a live preview that can process FCS files, run analyses and display plots and tables. By pairing portable hardware with automated, standardised software, VeraFab aims to make cytometry easier to use, compare across sites and integrate into automated pipelines and AI-assisted research. Its vision is to make high-quality single-cell measurement available wherever scientific work takes place.
