Starting as a modest 1,500 square foot space, Verbatim Books has since expanded to become the largest bookstore in San Diego, now occupying a spacious 5,000 square feet.

Specializing in used books, local authors, and a thoughtfully selected array of new titles from small- and micro-presses, Verbatim Books prides itself on providing a space where customers can discover unique and intriguing literary treasures. In addition to books, the store features zines from local creators and new releases from various independent publishers. They also host community events like the North Park Book Fair and the San Diego Book Crawl.
