OHZ is a privately operated animal shelter and nonprofit association based in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Germany. The organization connects animals in its care with prospective adopters and provides information to help people find a suitable companion. Its adoption listings cover cats, kittens, dogs and small mammals, alongside emergency cases and assistance with animal placements. People interested in meeting an animal are asked to complete an inquiry form or arrange an appointment with the shelter. The association also invites community members to support its work in practical ways. Opportunities include volunteering, becoming a member, sponsoring an animal and donating food through collection boxes. The shelter welcomes donations and shares a wish list for supporters who would like to contribute supplies. Its website offers guidance on topics such as cat ownership costs, microchipping, sterilization, adoption fees and what to do when a cat is found. Visitors can also read animal stories, including accounts of successful placements and tributes to animals who have passed away. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Animals _(under Pets and Animals)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/TiereInNote.V.OHZ) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id_LOHEsYt/w/400/h/225/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793550437459) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id_LOHEsYt/w/960/h/958/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793550437770) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Spicy Mix | #8d6741 | accent | | Metallic Bronze | #4f341a | dark | | Seagull | #80c8eb | light | ## Fonts - Verdana — asset _(custom)_ - Helvetica — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
