## Description

Verena Ewert is an architecture and design studio based in Siena, in the heart of Tuscany. Led by architect Verena Ewert, the practice combines what it describes as German professionalism with a considered approach to the region’s distinctive architecture and landscape. Its aim is to create high-quality spaces with modern comforts while respecting existing buildings and their surroundings.

The studio works on villas and country estates, interiors, pools and gardens, and a range of other projects. Its services span property-search support and advice, initial concepts and full project development, planning applications and authorisations, and assistance throughout the construction phase. It also provides detailed interior design and renovation planning, as well as pool and outdoor-space design.

Verena Ewert’s portfolio includes residential and hospitality projects, such as renovations of historic local businesses and properties in the Chianti Senese countryside. The studio also created Venart, an initiative bringing architecture, art and craftsmanship together through collaborations involving Alteresine resins and wood from Bottega Ferraro.
