## Description

Vereniging Flevoparkbad is a swimming association dedicated to supporting the Flevoparkbad, an outdoor swimming pool in Amsterdam. Its aim is to help preserve and promote what it describes as one of the city’s finest open-air pools, set in a green environment. For an annual membership fee of €10, members can support the association’s activities and show that the pool matters to them.

In addition to membership, swimmers need a valid seasonal pass or 12-visit pass to use the association’s special lane-swimming sessions outside the pool’s regular opening hours. These sessions take place in the 50-metre pool, with early-morning and evening swimming available at scheduled times. The association publishes updates about changes to these hours and shares news through its website and social media.

Vereniging Flevoparkbad also provides information about membership costs, volunteers and board members, frequently asked questions, and an activities calendar. Its work includes setting out a vision and ambitions for 2026–2030 and responding to proposals concerning the future of the Flevoparkbad.
