## Description

NDFF Verspreidingsatlas is a Dutch biodiversity platform that brings together accessible information about the distribution of flora and fauna. Created through the work of eight species organisations and many volunteers, it helps users explore species records, maps and other resources for nature research and identification. The atlas covers a wide range of groups, including plants, mosses, lichens, fungi, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, butterflies, dragonflies and marine life.

Visitors can search and analyse observations, view biodiversity maps, check species lists for an area, explore seasonal patterns and consult statistics, factsheets and literature. The platform also supports participation: users can submit individual sightings or species lists, search observations and access field tools such as printable maps. Identification resources are available for plants, lichens and orchids, alongside monitoring projects for selected species groups.

NDFF Verspreidingsatlas is supported in part by BIJ12, the Dutch Network for Ecological Monitoring and the Cultuurfonds. People who want to support the work can join or donate to an organisation representing their favourite species group.
