## Description

Very Pink Run is a family-friendly fundraising event hosted, owned and operated by Breast Cancer Ireland. It brings together people of all ages to run, jog, walk or wheel a 5k or 10k course, creating an inclusive way for individuals, families and teams to show their support. Events are held in Dublin, Kilkenny and Cork, with the 2026 dates scheduled for 29 August in Dublin, 30 August in Kilkenny and 6 September in Cork.

The run raises funds for Breast Cancer Ireland’s ongoing research and awareness efforts, helping support work intended to improve the future outlook for people affected by breast cancer. Participants can register individually or as teams, take part in fundraising, and access practical resources to prepare for the event. These include training guidance for beginners and runners, strength and nutrition advice, and fundraising tips. The event also offers a School Challenge and opportunities to volunteer, while its galleries share highlights from previous runs.
