Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest is an innovative and vibrant community center located in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. As a part of the Public Libraries in Jefferson County (PLJC), our mission is to serve as a free and accessible resource for all Jefferson County citizens. We offer a wide range of products and services to meet the diverse needs of our community.

From our Summer Services for children, teens, and adults to our Cognitive Care Kits for those with cognitive disabilities, we strive to provide resources and opportunities that inspire lifelong learning. Our library features a bookstore where you can find a variety of books for sale, and we also offer curbside pickup for your convenience. With a library card, you have access to our online resources, including virtual bookshelves and study rooms.

In addition, we have meeting rooms available for reservation, as well as services like print/copy/scan, proctoring, and passport assistance. Our Makerspace provides a creative space for 3D printing and photography. At Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest, we are dedicated to supporting our community through our general rules, board of trustees, and library foundation.
