# – Vestby Historielag - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `vestbyhistorielag.org` ## Description Vestby Historielag is a local history and heritage association serving Vestby municipality in Norway. Founded in 1980, it works to encourage interest in the area’s history and preserve materials and places that document how people lived over time. The association holds meetings with historical talks, organizes site visits and other activities, and gathers information, photographs, traditions, place names and accounts of local life. It also supports the registration and preservation of historic sites and makes local history sources accessible to the public. Vestby Historielag operates Vestby’s local archive, which accepts digital and paper materials from individuals, businesses, clubs and organizations.
