## Description

Vetami is a veterinary education provider created by veterinary specialists Jenny Buijtels and Bouvien Brocks. Its name combines “Vet” and “Ami,” meaning friend of veterinary medicine, and reflects its aim to make current veterinary knowledge and skills accessible to animal-care professionals. Vetami offers continuing education for veterinarians and veterinary nurses, with courses designed around professional practice and a supportive, friendly learning environment.

The course programme covers a wide range of clinical and practical topics, including surgery, imaging, cardiology, dentistry, anesthesia, internal medicine, emergency care, and the treatment of birds, rabbits, rodents, and reptiles. Training combines theory with hands-on practice where appropriate, so participants can develop practical skills as well as deepen their knowledge. Courses are taught by knowledgeable, approachable instructors, with guidance intended to help learners progress at their own pace and retain what they learn.

Vetami also provides learning pathways, videos, and tools, and hosts professional events such as Wintervet. Its approach brings veterinary professionals together to build knowledge and support better care for companion animals.
