# Veteran Owned - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `veteranownedbusinessdirectory.org` ## Description The Veteran Owned Business Directory is a member network connecting customers with businesses owned by U.S. veterans, service-disabled veterans, active-duty service members, reservists, and military or veteran spouses. Launched on Veterans Day 2008, the project helps people in the United States and abroad find products and services from businesses with military-connected owners. The site reports more than 40,000 veteran-owned businesses and SDVOSBs, alongside over 400,000 supporters. Visitors can search business listings by state or territory, category, NAICS code, and ownership type, including dedicated directories for service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, military spouse-owned businesses, franchises, and nonprofits. Listed fields range from aerospace, agriculture, and aviation to photography, automotive services, consulting, contracting, construction, education, and training. The platform also provides enhanced business listings and sponsorship opportunities. Beyond its directory, the organization offers resources on certification, government contracting, procurement opportunities, and small-business support. It also shares veteran employment services, job listings, discounts, events, news, and educational resources for military families and communities. ## Industries - 🗺 Reference Materials - 🗺 Public Records and Directories _(under Reference Materials)_ - 🛍 E-commerce and Shopping - 📊 Business and Consumer Services ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/veteranowned) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/VeteranOwnedBusiness) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/VeteranOwned) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/user/VeteranOwnedBusiness) - [pinterest](https://pinterest.com/@veteranowned) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id8FY6kMmh/w/426/h/91/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790988647847) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id8FY6kMmh/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790988647954) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Matisse | #214f9b | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id8FY6kMmh/w/1500/h/500/iditfwjWry.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790988648114) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
