## Description

Veterans' Affairs New Zealand is dedicated to supporting New Zealand’s veteran community, providing essential health, rehabilitation, and financial services for both currently serving and ex-serving personnel. The organization helps veterans and their families navigate various programs, including home help for qualifying services, and access to commemorative funding to honor their military legacy.

Veterans' Affairs also extends support to families, allowing them to explore their loved ones' military histories and providing assistance during challenging times, such as bereavement. The organization offers a wide array of resources, including treatment cards for no-cost care, medals recognition, and the opportunity to celebrate service through commemorative events and materials, such as NZ Post stamps that tell veteran stories.

In addition, Veterans' Affairs ensures clients receive fair and comprehensive support, encouraging individuals to check their eligibility for benefits, whether residing in New Zealand or abroad. With a strong commitment to honor the sacrifices of veterans, they are a crucial resource for the defense community and their families.
