## Description

The Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association (VEVA) is a non-profit organization that has been promoting the use of electric vehicles since its registration in 1988 under the Societies Act of British Columbia. With a diverse membership drawn from the Lower Mainland and beyond, VEVA advocates for the adoption and use of electric vehicles as a vital step toward a healthy and sustainable environment. VEVA provides a platform for individuals and businesses to share their experiences and knowledge, assisting owners and operators of electric vehicles while educating the public about the benefits of going electric. The association organizes regular meetings to discuss current events, regulations, and policy related to electric vehicles, as well as plan for various events throughout the year to showcase the advantages of electric transportation. In addition, VEVA collaborates with other organizations and preserves artifacts and vehicles that are significant to the history of electric vehicles, ensuring their appreciation by future generations. Their efforts extend beyond advocacy, as they also provide resources such as FAQs, webinars, and information on charging apps and locations. Join VEVA and be a part of the electric vehicle movement that is transforming transportation and creating a sustainable future.
