VGA is an Italian small and medium-sized enterprise founded in 2011, specializing in the design, qualification and manufacture of products for aerospace, defence and related applications. Its team of more than 30 engineers supports customer programs from initial specifications through development and certification, with expertise spanning mechanical and electrical engineering. VGA’s customized product range includes battery packs with battery management systems for launchers, aviation and satellites; mechanisms such as robotic arms, clamp band separation systems and hold-down and release mechanisms; and test benches and ground support equipment for aerospace systems. The company also provides product analysis, 2D and 3D modelling, performance and structural assessments, thermal and computational fluid dynamics calculations, and reliability and safety analyses. Its facilities support prototyping, manufacturing and qualification testing, including laser welding, 3D printing, battery testing, environmental testing and clean-room assembly. VGA operates dedicated laboratories for battery inspection and performance measurement, environmental qualification, and testing equipment for wave energy systems. Its quality systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and EN 9100:2018.
