## Description

Via Ludus creates self-guided, story-driven city walks that help people discover local heritage through play. Its activities combine cultural information about a destination, observation questions and logic puzzles, all woven into a fictional scenario inspired by the city’s history. Rather than following a conventional guided tour or reading a travel guide, participants explore streets at their own pace, with no timer or race.

The walks use a game format with cards or envelopes containing directions between locations, questions to confirm participants have reached each stop, clues to save for a final puzzle, and anecdotes about the city. The games can be purchased through the Via Ludus website or selected partners, then started at a designated meeting point.

Via Ludus offers themed experiences in destinations including Saint-Malo, Dinan, Vieux-Lyon, Dol-de-Bretagne, Rennes and Toulouse, with new destinations in development. Stories invite players to investigate mysteries involving local figures, landmarks and historical events, making the walks an entertaining way to observe, learn about and experience a city independently.
