## Description

Vigil, created by Advanced Aerospace Designs, develops automatic activation devices (AADs) for skydivers. The brand has been saving lives since 2003, with a focus on combining safety, practical functionality, and low ownership costs. Its original Multi-Mode AAD brings four settings—Pro, Student, Tandem, and Xtreme—together in one unit, supporting different skydiving uses.

Vigil devices feature water-resistant construction, a user-friendly display, and accessible memory data, including jump counts and free-fall time. The company states that its AAD has a 20-year service life and requires no scheduled maintenance; battery replacement is recommended between eight and 12 years. The cutter and controller are field-replaceable.

Vigil also provides manuals, service and return instructions, product and service bulletins, airport security documents, and support for customers and dealers. Its website shares recorded life-saving reports, product updates, and stories about athletes who use Vigil equipment. The brand sells through dealers worldwide and offers regional contact points in Belgium and the United States.
