The Village of Arts and Humanities is a vibrant arts and community revitalization organization located in the Fairhill-Hartranft neighborhood of Philadelphia. With a mission to create a more just and equitable society, The Village supports artists and Black community residents in imagining, designing, and building a better future. The organization offers a wide range of programs and services to the community.

This includes the Youth Leadership Village, Philly Earth, CRED Magazine, Social Justice Civic Power Studio, People’s Paper Co-op, SPACES AIR, Equitable Revitalization, Creative Campus, and The Futures Gallery. The Village also maintains 15 art parks and 10 program buildings, all inspired by West African sacred art and neighborhood aesthetics. Through art-based intervention, The Village inspires visitors and artists from around the world.

With a strong commitment to community engagement and civic empowerment, The Village continues to make a positive impact on the lives of its residents and the greater Philadelphia area
